PuroKalusugan Launching at Barangay Sampalocan

The Balete Rhu launched the PuroKalusugan program in Barangay Sampalocan, Balete, Batangas as part of the Department of Health (DOH) initiative to strengthen healthcare delivery at the purok level.

The event offered a range of health services, including maternal/pre-natal check-up, PhilPEN/NCD RBS screening, provision of Vitamin A, nutrition and immunization among children and PPD skin testing.

PuroKalusugan is a key strategy under the DOH designed to bring essential healthcare services directly to puroks and sitios. By focusing on early disease detection, health promotion, and equitable access to healthcare, the initiative aims to close service gaps and improve the overall health and well-being of communities.
