𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐎𝐊𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐔𝐆𝐀𝐍 𝐋𝐀𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐒 in Barangay Paligawan, Balete, Batangas bringing vital health services and awareness to the local community.

True to its commitment to bringing healthcare services closer to communities, the Department of Health (DOH), together with Balete Rhu launched the PuroKalusugan in Barangay Paligawan, Balete, Batangas.

PuroKalusugan is the newest primary care program of the Department, which aims to bring healthcare services closer to the communities by bringing them into every purok.

Through this initiative, the community of Barangay Paligawan was able to access free medical services, including maternal and child healthcare, immunization programs, nutrition support, and screenings for TB and other non-communicable diseases. The event is a step forward in ensuring that health services are more accessible to Filipinos, particularly those in remote areas.

Extending our most gratitude to Barangay Paligawan and hardworking BNS & BHWs for helping us implement the PuroKalusugan in their community.

The PuroKalusugan program aligns with one of the Department’s 8-Point Action Agenda, “Bawat Pilipino Ramdam ang Kalusugan”, dahil sa Bagong Pilipinas, Bawat Buhay Mahalaga!
