In light of the declaration of the Provincial Government of the State of Emergency and suspension of classes in all levels in the entire province, and given the possible severe flooding due to the enhanced Southwest Monsoon brought about by Typhoon CARINA as well as upon the recommendation of the Members of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, CLASSES AND OTHER ACTIVITIES in ALL LEVELS, in both public and private schools, as well as WORK in GOVERNMENT OFFICES in the Municipality of Balete, are hereby SUSPENDED today, Wednesday, 24 July 2024.
However, offices whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services.
The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective management.
This memorandum circular will take effect immediately.
