EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 030 S. 2022
“AN EXECUTIVE ORDER DECLARING THE SUSPENSION OF CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS (PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SCHOOLS) WITHIN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BALETE, BATANGAS DUE TO TYPHOON KARDING”
WHEREAS, the Republic of the Philippines through Republic Act No. 10121 and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council provided for all the necessary guidelines needed to plan, implement and respond to all disasters;
WHEREAS, the Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (DOST-PAGASA) issued a Tropical Cyclone Bulletin No. 17, dated September 25, 2022, 2:00 PM, Moderate to heavy with at times intense rains over Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Benguet, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Pangasinan, Cavite, Laguna and Batangas.
WHEREAS, The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office recommends the suspension of classes in all levels, private and public schools.
NOW THEREFORE, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, WILSON V. MARALIT, Municipal Mayor of the Municipality of Balete, Batangas hereby order the SUSPENSION OF CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS, PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SCHOOLS within the Municipality on SEPTEMBER 26, 2022.
Furnish copies of this order to all concerned.
